Better Access Medical Clinic
Better Access Medical Clinic is a General Practice Clinic based in Bowen Hills, Brisbane. Better Access Medical Clinic is a service of QuIHN Ltd.
We are a bulk billing General Practice for eligible Medicare card holders. We also provide low cost care for those who do not hold a Medicare card. Appointment fees for patients without a Medicare card are based on the length of the consultation with the G.P. An estimate of your out-of-pocket costs will be provided at the time of booking and the final fee will be advised upon completion of your appointment.
Please note that pathology and other tests are not included in the general clinic fee and may incur a fee payable directly to the pathology or radiology provider. These costs will vary between providers based on whether you hold a Medicare card, Medicare eligibility, and if the testing is covered by Medicare. You should contact your preferred provider to discuss potential out-of-pockets.
Better Access Medical Clinic provides services in; General Health; GP Management Plans (including Mental Health and other Health Care Plans); Sexual Health & Blood Borne Viruses; Hepatitis C Treatment & Management; Opiate Substitution Therapy (OST); and Work Cover and Pre-Employment Medicals.
Better Access Medical Clinic is a program of QuIHN Ltd. QuIHN provides a range of programs and services including; Dual Diagnosis Therapeutic Counselling addressing both substance use and mental health concerns and support to loved ones and carers; and Harm Reduction support services (including education programs, the provision of Naloxone and Needle and Syringe Programs). In addition, QuIHN provides Nurse Practitioner outreach clinics for individuals seeking Hepatitis C Testing, Treatment & Management, Sexual Health, and Blood Borne Viruses.
